SY-1000 Control Center
Control the BOSS SY-1000 Guitar Synthesizer from your DAW.
The problem: The BOSS SY-1000 Guitar Synthesizer is extraordinarily deep, so much so that many guitarists can't easily access all controls.
An in-development view of the SY-1000 patch model. INST1, INST2, INST3 and NORMAL occupy four reorderable source slots. Effects, BAL1–3 merge stages, DIV/MIX branches and MAIN/SUB taps depend on the patch topology; they are not a single fixed mixer-then-effects chain. MST remains fixed. Editing follows the device’s constrained routing model, not arbitrary cabling.

What it is
SY-1000 Control Center brings the BOSS SY-1000 Guitar Synthesizer into your desktop workflow: direct access to its sounds, parameters and routing from a dedicated software editor, as a standalone application or inside your DAW.
A visual signal-flow view provides direct navigation through the current patch. Select an instrument, mixer stage, effect or output section and move straight to the controls that belong to it. Changes are sent to the connected unit, and synchronisation keeps the editor aligned with the hardware.
It does not replace the SY-1000 — it gives the hardware a modern computer-based control surface. The connected unit remains the sound engine.
What it does
- Visual signal-flow patch editing — INST 1/2/3, normal guitar processing, mixer, effects, Foot Volume, MAIN and SUB output paths
- Deep parameter access across instrument engines, effects, mixing, routing, control functions and system configuration
- Find Control — locate any parameter and jump straight to it in the editor, with its position revealed and highlighted
- Plug-in operation (AU/VST3) so SY-1000 control sits alongside the rest of your project
- Standalone application with MIDI Learn: assign CCs, set min/max ranges, reverse response
- Standalone audio routing for quick monitoring without firing up a DAW
- Embedded audio device aquisition (plug-in)
- Developed and tested against physical hardware, including sync, parameter read/write, patch changes and Device IDs 1–32
